Movement

We lost connection to our sensuality when we started to live more in our head than in our body. We are all born with sensuality but overthinking, shame, self doubt, and fear disconnect us from it. So it only makes sense that a return to it would involve working with the mind.

The reason you feel stiff and your movement feels clunky isn’t from a lack of skill or practice. It’s from the tension in your body when you force and control it trying to “get it right” or be perfect.

Without working on the mind, you can never access the full potential of your body.

Mindset

Movement allows you to FEEL what flow, presence, and freedom feels like in your body and not just logically understand it in your mind. When you know what it feels like, you can replicate it in all areas of your life. What would be different if you could feel flow, freedom, and presence not just in dance, but in your work and relationships?

Movement brings awareness. When you can notice things like an urge and then practice letting it out instead of suppressing it— you learn how to notice when you’re filtering and editing yourself and how to let go of the resistance so that you can show up authentically.

Without working on movement, you can never access the full potential of your mind.
