Meet Mimi
The sensual movement pioneer pushing the boundaries of how sensuality is understood, expressed, and embodied
If there's a part of you underneath that wants to break out, that's who I'm here for
My story
Let me take you back to a time when I was painfully shy and awkward
I hated the way I moved—I’d carry myself as if I needed to shrink into the tiniest corner possible.
I didn’t grow up with sports or dance and moving my body felt like playing a 2000’s computer car racing game. Turn a little and you turn too much, floor the gas and you move as fast as a snail—like there’s a glitch in the code that says you absolutely cannot win.
I was that girl who couldn’t even dance alone in her room because my inner critic was always whispering, “You’re not good enough.”
It wasn’t until i picked up pole dancing over 10 years ago that i started to be good at anything.
Pole dancing taught me discipline and dedication, and more importantly, it transformed the way I saw myself.
I used to believe that in order to walk into a room with confidence, I had to be outgoing or look a certain way.
But what I learned, was that you just need to feel safe in your body.
When you feel safe in your body, you move through the world differently.
You speak differently.
You exist differently.
There’s a sense of ease in everything that you do. You’re able to fully express yourself with no inhibition, no hiding, and no second-guessing.
Throughout my work I’ve seen firsthand how connecting more deeply with your sensuality unlocks the confidence and freedom to live as your full self: Reina, who once felt paralyzed by fear when someone says hi, now confidently greeting everyone she meets. Fei, who always felt uncomfortable trying to be sexy, now getting comments from people about the femininity that she naturally exudes.
I’ve realized that we don’t actually want to be “good dancers,” or win competitions, but that what each of us wants, deep down, is more life.
Now I’m on a mission: To help women who feel disconnected from their bodies, rediscover the magic of their sensuality.
Feeling comfortable in your body and sensuality is the difference between living in the lines and living in your truth. The comfort zone that keeps you caged and the freedom to truly live.
Sensuality is a powerful tool for self-discovery and transformation.
Sensuality isn’t something you “put on” for the world—it’s something you become.
And I’m here to show you how.
💋 Mimi

What you are teaching, sensuality, is necessary for women in everyday life, not just while dancing. When I harness that soft, sensual energy I am happiest and more able to be present and connect with others. Women tapping into this could be key to a cultural shift that could create a more balanced, happy, connected society. You are the champion of a movement. Thank you for all that you do.

You're beyond inspiring Mimi! Like I said, forever grateful for you and what you teach because it's way more than just movement...for us women, it's a fundament of life to find this vibrant, sensual energy which is guiding us through this crazy man's world...and I'm so happy I got to this next chapter, thanks to you goddess, of making my pole practice a spiritual journey to the center of my true being.

When I see myself in my dreams, the only word to describe it is freedom. I want to feel free..You gave me hope that I can turn things around and feel safe enough to let my soul shine through, seriously. Once again, thank you
